Curious to find out more about children and young people’s mental health? Place2Be have launched a free introductory half-day workshop in five new locations.

To mark Children’s Mental Health Week 2018 (5-11 February), Place2Be trainers will be out on the road in Wrexham, Oldham, Ipswich, Edinburgh and Cranbrook, helping up to 200 people to get a first taste of some of the skills used by children’s and young people’s counsellors.

The free half-day workshop entitled ‘Listening: Counselling Skills for Everyday Life with Children and Young People’ is helpful for professionals working with children and young people or parents or carers, and might be the first step in a possible whole new career.
