Join us at home or in your community for Children's Mental Health Week from 9 - 15 February 2026!

We love seeing everyone get involved in Children's Mental Health Week each year. We're busy working on getting some resources ready especially for anyone wanting to take part as a family or a community group.

The theme this year is This is my place and we're encouraging families and communities to support their children and young people feel a sense of belonging.

Make sure you sign up to hear from us to be the first to know about any updates for our 2026 event!

Who started Children's Mental Health Week?

Place2Be is a children’s mental health charity who started Children's Mental Health Week in 2015.

In addition to providing counselling, mental health support and training in UK schools, we have expert parenting advice, tips and articles. We believe that children should not have to face mental health problems alone.

Advice for parents and carers

Expert-written articles and videos about common parenting issues for parents and carers of primary-age children.
