Join us at home or with your community group for Children's Mental Health Week from 9 - 15 February 2026!

We love seeing everyone get involved in Children's Mental Health Week each year. Our resources are now available to download - we've been busy working on getting our resources ready for anyone wanting to take part as a family or a community group.

The theme this year is This is My Place and we're encouraging families and community groups to support their children and young people to feel a sense of belonging.

See how you can take part in Children's Mental Health Week whether you want to get involved with your family or as part of your community group.

All the money you raise with your family or community during the week goes towards Place2Be providing vital mental health support services for pupils, school staff and parents and carers in schools across the UK.

For every £1 invested, Place2Be's counselling service in primary schools has the potential to return £8 to society by improving the long-term outcomes for each child. Read our report to find out more.

Who started Children's Mental Health Week?

Place2Be is a children’s mental health charity who started Children's Mental Health Week in 2015.

In addition to providing counselling, mental health support and training in UK schools, we have expert parenting advice, tips and articles. We believe that children should not have to face mental health problems alone.
