BAFTA's This is My Place series
In this short film series created by BAFTA for Children’s Mental Health Week 2026, familiar faces from the worlds of media, music, and drama share their thoughts on belonging and what it means to them.
BAFTA’s Young Presenters Elizabeth Okogwu (aged 11) and Afraz Hussain (aged 17) sat down with broadcaster Joe Tasker, performer and motivational speaker Arti Shah, content creator/actor Henry Rowley, and actor/musician Jacob Anderson, to explore this year's Children’s Mental Health Week theme ‘This is My Place’.
The conversations cover thoughts on the significance of self-acceptance in feeling like you belong, what it means and how it feels to belong, and what to do to help others feel like they belong too.
These videos are aimed at older primary school pupils, and secondary / high school pupils. They could be used in school, or at home, as a conversation starter with children and young people. Watch them all below.
