BAFTA's self-awareness series

In this short film series created by BAFTA for Children’s Mental Health Week 2025, familiar faces from across film, TV, and radio open up about what self-awareness means to them.
BAFTA’s Young Presenters Samaira Iqbal and Tristan Thompson sat down with broadcaster Shanequa Paris, actor Chloe Lea and actor Jay Lycurgo to explore this year's theme 'Know Yourself, Grow Yourself'. The conversations cover topics like calming nerves, coping with difficult emotions and living with insecurities.
These videos are aimed at older primary school pupils, and secondary / high school pupils. They could be used in school, or at home, as a conversation starter with children and young people. Watch them all below.
