So far, you’ve raised over £68,000 for Place2Be and these vital funds will enable us to support more children, schools, and families across the UK.

We’ve loved hearing about how you celebrated Children’s Mental Health Week, here are some of our favourite activities:

  • Thousands of children came together at the Young Voices concerts during Children’s Mental Health Week and beyond. These were held in Birmingham and Sheffield and raised an incredible £5,541!
  • Ambler Primary School and Children’s Centre took on a variety of activities throughout Children’s Mental Health Week. From a drama workshop and story tellers focusing on the theme My Voice Matters, to getting creative and showing their uniqueness through Express Yourself, they raised an amazing £396.
  • Rhiannon has raised over £2,400 so far through teaching yoga to children and encouraging them to do ‘a pose a day’. She’s promoted mindfulness and the effects of positive thinking to improve mental health amongst children.
  • 8-year-old Toby raised over £850 by running laps around his school playing field and ran a total distance of 11.64 miles!
  • Brentwood School took on their third fundraiser for us this year during Children’s Mental Health Week! Their year 10 students organised a fun ‘silly hat day’ and raised a fantastic £190 for children’s mental health!

If you raised money during Children's Mental Health Week, you can still pay in your fundraising to Place2Be.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, we’re so grateful for your support and can’t wait to share our plans for Children’s Mental Health Week 2025 with you.

It's now been two months since Children's Mental Health Week 2024. We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in the week and helped raise over £68,000 (and counting!) for Place2Be.
